So, turns out our guinea pig Quincy is just racist. He isn't getting along with the smooth hair fellas, but we brought home this new fluffy guy who looks like a porcupine/skunk today, and they're getting on great. He was getting lonely, but not enough to mingle with smoothies.

We live in bizaro world where taking money from one person to give to another under the threat of imprisonement isn't violence, but not being given money stolen from somebody else is violence.

I don't know what to call this cheesy baked penne casserole Mrs. DBR made, but it was delicious. Very nice of her to have it ready for me when I got back from a late trip to town, too. I was starving!

They're all cheery now! Might combine soon. Quincy (white) & the new guy, Peanut, are basically best pals already, and _all_ of them have become significantly more energetic and happy since he showed up. I think Quincy was lonely and bumming everyone out, but that's fixed now!
