With very little prospect of rain on the horizon, again, this week, there are some farmers resorting to irrigating wheat in Nottinghamshire. Don't know how the finances of that are looking but it might be the difference between a harvest or none, for some?

It was an early start for me,today, with 2 farms to visit. The first in #cumbria and then #NorthYorkshire in the afternoon. 325 miles round trip but worth it for the #fullenglishbreakfast at Mainsgill Farm Shop Fantastic farm shop and cafe on the A66 near #Scotchcorner.

At last, some sense around the topic of sustainable buildings. As he says, “ it’s just common sense” so perhaps it’s no surprise that it’s taken politicians so long to finally come up with the idea that new buildings should be fitted with PV. What about rainwater harvesting too?

The 2025 Groundswell festival didn't disappoint! My first time exhibiting was well received and I met dozens of people, made new friends and, hopefully, built relationships with some new clients. Not to mention the great street food, beers and ciders which helped too!
