Orgreave pre-roost last night, a BHG x Med Gull hybrid, first winter Caspian Gull, and a striking adult Northern Herring .

Two Yellow Wagtails at Orgreave tonight, an obvious male flavissima, and this bird. Any thoughts on subspecies, just a well marked flavissima?

Managed to catch the record breaking flock of 46 Little Gulls at Orgreave this afternoon. The whole flock spiralled up high calling around 14:45, before leaving to the E at 15:05.

Comet A3 Tsuchinshan-Atlas from Damflask Reservoir in the South Yorkshire Peak District tonight. More impressive was the Moonbow that appeared over the Reservoir to the west.

This looks pretty good to me for a male Vagrant Emperor, currently in the ditch before the hide at Skeffling re-alinnment, E.Yorks at the end if Long Lane (closwd to traffic).

First winter Grey Phal at RVCP today. Mainly distant, but came close in to the main lake shore briefly, later flipping over to Meadowgate. Thanks to the finder KRG who is on a bit of a hot streak currently.
