Enjoying listening to the vast back catalogue of the More of Less podcast over the summer on the dog walks. Lots of interesting short episodes which could generate classroom discussion. Anyone with an interest in mathematics (or anything number related!) should give it a try!

Really enjoyed attending the TayMaths Conference at Dundee University yesterday. Great opening address then onto an early years workshop with many practical ideas, Bryn and his journey through area, Tara Harper and her thinking puzzles, and concluded with a panel forum!

Sophie’s first football match this afternoon.… Ross County versus Bonnyrigg Rose in the Women’s Scottish Cup. Dad and daughter time!

Wonderful competition and the photographs are stunning! The crazy places mathematics appears in our natural world still boggles my mind!
