Space scientists in Cornwall say that after last night’s failed launch they’ll be looking at finding a better replacement for the second rocket. A spokesman said, “We’ll be talking to the Transatlantic Research Authority for Geostationary Orbit or TRAGO for short.”

Good old South West Water always dependable, always reliable, always crap. Highest water bills in England, customers living under a hosepipe ban since last August and this morning dumping sewage into huge swaths of if not most of Cornwall and Devon. Ho hum.

The initial winners of this year’s British Fireworks Championships in Plymouth have been disqualified for a technical error. Apparently the company concerned did not replace the lid correctly during their display thus contravening the firework code.
