Good day McCrea FS West of Scotland Cricket Club as we double cut the square to put the wickets in for the season ahead. Too dry to do any PSR as we need to be patient and get the right conditions and not just jump in. Otherwise we’ll end up doing more harm than good. Plenty planned for the rest of the week 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🏏

Another good day McCrea FS West of Scotland Cricket Club square was lightly scarified to remove any dead grass. Then over seeded and making use of the John Deere with some bags of loam to lightly roll the seed into the ground. Now left to the weather and rain Saturday/ Sunday and hopefully ready to roll Mon 🏏

Juggling act of a dual sporting venue: a mini-spring renovation on two cricket wickets which encroach on to the rugby pitch. Scarified, seeded & levelled with some growth sheets to aid recovery. Bit of rain to come to help them along & get them playable for summer HILLHEAD CRICKET
