Our #PassengerRights - the next stop in my journey as EPP Group rapporteur in TRAN Committee Press. Many things to be said, much more to be done. Let’s start with the question of responsibility: how to help Europeans to enjoy easier travelling instead of endless procedures.

🚫 🚗 Bans won’t build the future - innovation will. We need diverse technologies, not blanket bans, to protect the historical leadership of European automotive industry. The EU’s climate ambitions shouldn’t come at the cost of 13 million jobs. #automotiveindustry

Cohesion policy is vital for municipalities lacking investment. We want to preserve it but the actual payments in the EU are merely 6.4%. Our priority is to make investment flow faster. Glad to have discussed that challenge with Raffaele Fitto during today's REGI Committee Press meeting.

As of this week, I am joining the Committee on Security and Defence of the EP. My agenda? Investment in defence, European defence union, military mobility, defence industry support & protection of critical infrastructure. Looking fwd to serving in the name of our land and people.
