Huge day for me! Finally got my first neural network running on my own data using Keras (in R!) and books from François Chollet and JJ Allaire. Thanks to you two for the great APIs. (Also Pearson Lab and Jakob Nikolas Kather for teaching me what a neural network even is...)

Our #ClinicalAI pre-print is out bioRxiv. biorxiv.org/content/10.110… We used #deeplearning for OncoKB™ clinically actionable molecular alterations in 4000 patients in @NCIGDC_Updates #TCGA. Now online: Andrew Srisuwananukorn wrote a fabulous and comprehensive review of #DeepLearning for #Hematology in Haematologica, with great explanatory graphics doi.org/10.3324/haemat…. A great start as new faculty at The James Ohio State Hematology.

Now published in Haematologica! Our review aimed at clinical #Hematology experts explaining what is #DeepLearning and what it can do for us: haematologica.org/article/view/h… Thanks for the mentorship, Pearson Lab! #HemeAI

We're excited to welcome Andrew Srisuwananukorn to our Benign #Hematology and #AML Teams @OSUCCCJames. He joins a strong team of clinicians and researchers and will specialize in developing new #myeloproliferativeneoplasms therapies for The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center patients.

The 2023 Young Investigator Symposium is underway! 🩻 The eight young investigators selected for this years program are: Michel AlChoueiry, Fatemeh Ardeshir, MD, Joshua J. Gruber, Amun S. Kazerouni, PhD, Rakesh Shiradkar, Andrew Srisuwananukorn, Lova Sun, Lacey Williams #EAOnc
