WGA members have authorized a strike by 97.85%. Writers are ready for a deal from the studios that allows writers to share in the success of the content they create and build a stable life. #WGAStrong

Not to be hyperbolic, but this WGA strike is the canary in the coal mine. If we don’t stop this industry from insane automation and devaluing wages that’s a wrap. That’s dystopia.

Last year, 8 Hollywood CEOs made nearly $800 million, yet pay for TV writers has fallen by 23 percent over the last 10 years. I stand with the nearly 12,000 Writers Guild of America West writers on strike for a fair contract.
