Today marks 8 years of dating Andrew Emerson ❤️ Even long distance in grad school, we’ve managed to celebrate this day in-person together all but three times. Tonight it’ll be a FaceTime date and probably leftovers, but we’re so close to a lifetime.

After 4 1/2 years of long distance, today my fiancé defends his PhD in computer science. Yesterday he passed 100 citations on Google Scholar. I could not be more proud.

A couple days late, but I am proud to announce that I successfully defended my Ph.D. dissertation this week! It's been an extremely valuable experience, and I am grateful for my advisor James Lester, my committee members, @cscncsu, and all those that have supported me throughout.

Today is Tuesday, February 22, 2022 and I’m so happy to say today I passed my data defense 🎉 🎉 Now to get some sleep 😴
