I spoke to Chris Pudney & Andy Dunne University of Bath about the number of children unknowingly smoking spice-spiked vapes. Chris created a device that found 1 in 6 vapes confiscated in school contained spice. I'm urging the Education Secretary to ensure schools are aware of the issue

Thank you Matt Chorley inviting me back onto my old slot on the radio - AND for the invite to prime minister’s questions. What a joyful adventure. You are brilliant at the show . Funny, original and different.

🚨 I’M STARTING A PODCAST🚨 I’m fascinated by how life experiences shape our political beliefs. Liz Truss was the daughter of a Marxist academic and a CND member. May and Brown’s fathers were clergymen. Blair, Johnson and Starmer saw their parents’ struggle with ill-health.

The baked beans have been haunting me. Tiny, watery eyeballs staring back at the Prime Minister’s tiny, watery eyeballs. Great to write for The New Statesman on why politicians are what they eat 🍳 newstatesman.com/politics/uk-po…

I remember Menzies Campbell as a fellow Fife MP and a friend who was always great to work with across party lines, who shared a strong sense of social justice and a belief in international cooperation. One of the great leaders of our times and a decent, compassionate man. RIP
