I've long appreciated how the zkSync team balances product and technology. Appreciate how they're using ZK, precommits, and TEEs to offers devs tradeoffs between security and speed.

I've been super impressed with the team developing the Rust node at Mina Foundation (httpz) 🪶. It's no small feat to reverse engineer a recursive ZK proof system written in OCaml. Once ready it'll be way easier to optimize MSM and make other improvements. github.com/openmina/openm… ...

I particularly excited about the protocol feature development, especially access to the protocol state. One foot in front of the other towards proof singularity.

I was a kid who ran a web server from my dorm room back when that was cypherpunk. I love the idea of the people's internet, an open network of p2p protocols through which people (and their authorized agents!) can organize and take action. Mina's web node is the new web server.
