Magdalene by FKA twigs is pure magic, a late contender for my favourite album of the decade, treat yourself and get into it

one advantage of being Furloughed is I’ve now watched the whole of series two of ‘Hidden’, tremendous stuff and @annesel was absolutely incredible

yay, Ilya are awesome and @JoannaSwan is one of my favourite singers of all time

can’t get the songs of the tremendous new EP ‘Personal Monster’ by Bryony Sier out of my head and I don’t want to either, her voice is as sublime as her songs, loving it

finished watching I May Destroy You, superb TV and an exceptional performance from Michaela Coel and the rest of the cast were brilliant too, this is what I would call ‘a must watch’

Blue Weekend, the latest album by Wolf Alice, is giving Green To Gold, the latest album by The Antlers, a challenge for my favourite album of 2021. Both are tremendous.

Watched the final episode of Hidden last night, brilliant as always. Sian Reese-Williams was fantastic in all 3 series, congratulations to all involved.

It’s nearly half way through the year and so far my album of 2022 is Preacher’s Daughter by 💀. It will take something exceptional to top this absolute masterpiece.

Saw a half hour set of Kelly Convey last night in Cardiff, fabulously funny lady. If you get a chance to see her don’t miss out.

I know it is only March but if I hear a better album than Desire, I Want To Turn Into You by Caroline Polachek this year I’ll be amazed, it’s incredible.

Seems the more I listen to the album Bolted by forest swords the more I realise how superb it is. That’s 3 great albums in a row, consistently excellent too.

Lives Outgrown by Beth Gibbons is tremendous.

The Clearing by Wolf Alice is superb, loving it and can’t get enough of it.
