- Victor Robles is headed to Class AAA Rochester for his rehab assignment. He’ll start tomorrow, play some games at DH, others in the field.
- Cade Cavalli threw “really well” in his live today. Fastball averaged 96 mph and topped out at 98.

From Kyle W’s story: “It’s just proof of how such a different player I am now,” Fedde said of his development. “Looking back a couple of years ago, if you told me I was striking out close to double digits and going deep in games, I would probably chuckle a little.”

Erick Fedde didn’t know if the changes he implemented overseas would play it he majors.

Sunday’s strong outing proves that the right-hander can have success in the majors.

Catalyzed by Jesse Winker's grand slam, the Nationals hit for power and throttled Miami. Nick Senzel and Keibert Ruiz homered, too. And another good day for Mitchell Parker, who worked himself out of a few jams.

Look who’s batting third.

The Nationals have promoted INF Phillip Glasser from Low-A Fredericksburg to High-A Wilmington.

The 24-year-old was a 10th round pick in ‘23 and began ‘24 hitting .381 with two homers and a 1.031 OPS in 15 games. He also hit over .300 in the minors last year.

Dave Martinez often says the Nats have to excel in the three constants — pitching, defending and running the bases — to win.

He also says the runs will come. They haven’t yet, but the constants were impressive, and enough, against the Marlins:

- Victor Robles sprinted at about 90% yesterday. Hopes to begin his rehab assignment by the end of this upcoming week.
- Nick Senzel is feeling better and will be available to come off of the bench today.
- Josiah Gray threw at 90 feet yesterday.
