How do we know the age of a forest? Let’s watch NCC conservation intern Marie-Ève Côté! Marie-Ève’s team uses an increment borer to reach the inside of the tree trunk and pull out a narrow piece of the tree’s core. They count the rings to determine the tree’s age. 🌲
