Interessante uitwisseling tss Noah Smith ๐Ÿ‡๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ฆ en Matthew Yglesias, om 3 redenen:
1. Om de inhoud

Etc

I know it's anecdotal but two friends of mine who worked for a while in the US in 2 completely different environments (military and academic) confirmed that Americans work inefficient long hours because they are expected to show their commitment by just being present.

How EU managed to save itself from Russiaโ€™s Energy blackmail (Demand Destruction, Energy Efficiency and US LNG). We can breathe a bit better but need to stay vigilant.

is overleden.

So sad to hear of the death of the great Danny Kahneman. I've had the privilege of interviewing many of the greats in social science (Becker, Schelling, Thaler, Levitt, Duflo and others) but Kahneman is the one who took up residence in my subconscious...

Good to see that my impression that X is becoming a bit of a ghost town wasn't just me going crazy.

Also, good to see social media use in general drifting downward. Humankind is slowly adapting and learning how to handle this new technology.

I honestly believe that ignorance of basic economic truths is one of the biggest stumbling blocks for good policy. Steve Stewart-Williams breaks down a new paper that investigates exactly how far off people can be in their economic reasoning. stevestewartwilliams.com/p/the-worst-ecโ€ฆ

If you want to close existing nuclear before you have phased out fossil fuels, you are not serious about reducing global warming in my opinion.

So I would not classify these parties as environmental groups but as anti-nuclear groups.

I wrote 2,500 words about the history of Belgium, but it's really about Russia's 19th Century role as the ideological underwriter of global illiberalism and Vladimir Putin's desire to bring it back.
