W/ Dr. Jessica Kosie presenting the results from a Princeton/Concordia collaboration. We looked at synchrony between parents lang use during a play session (e.g. Eng) and the kids language use. We found sync on 1-1 interactions, but not when multiple caregivers are present. #SRCD23
Amazing #SRCD23 talk by Dalhousie University asoc. Prof Ana Maria Gonzalez. Bilingualism is not only possible but might be beneficial for children with #ASD autism spectrum disorder. Bilingual ASD children retrieve more words than monolingual ASD children!
