I believe that a woman’s right to choose is fundamental. Roe has been the law of the land for almost fifty years, and basic fairness and the stability of our law demand that it not be overturned. We will be ready when any ruling is issued.

In New Jersey, women will always have full autonomy over their own bodies and the right to make their own medical decisions.

Abortion is legal in New Jersey. Today, I signed legislation to protect the right of out-of-state patients to receive abortion care in New Jersey, and to protect the health care professionals providing them.  New Jersey will remain a beacon of freedom for every American woman.
