A:1 Goals for learners: - that school provides mirrors & windows…affirmation, continuous growth, & opportunities to explore interests & passions. Relationships are key! To quote @Wakehistory, “You can’t teach what you don’t know; that includes our students.” #NoVAedcha

A2: Be curious about my students & embed opportunities for Ss to get to know one another, me, and share about themselves in a safe environment. Also, multiple ways to communicate; not everyone is comfortable F2F. When we know one another better = success. #NoVAedchat

A3 If we ask kids what is working/helping their learning, we can do more of that. And, if we ask what is not working, we can do less of that. If we ask kids about their lives, we can know them better and tailor experiences to their interests/strengths/needs. #NoVAedchat

A6 - I love the idea (Q5 resource) of reflecting on who am I talking to/not talking? What do I know about my students? And then being intentional in connecting with students based on this reflection. Process-based, not just a one time action. #NoVAedchat
