Rabbit knocked and Owl's head came out and said, “Go away, I'm thinking.” “Owl,” said Rabbit shortly, “you and I have brains. The others have fluff. If there is any thinking to be done in this Forest, you and I must do it.” “Yes,” said Owl. “I was.” ~A.A.Milne #WednesdayWisdom

Christopher Robin, who was looking at the world with his chin in his hands, called out “Pooh, promise you won’t forget about me, ever. Not even when I’m a hundred.” Pooh thought for a while. “How old shall I be then?” “Ninety-nine.” Pooh nodded. “I promise,” he said. ~A.A.Milne

“It’s a comforting sort of thing to have,” said Christopher Robin, folding up the POEM, and putting it in his pocket. “Come on, Pooh,” and he walked off. “Where are we going?” said Pooh. “Nowhere,” said Christopher Robin. So they began going there. ~A.A.Milne #SaturdayMotivation

Removing layers of plasterboard meant the walls were able to dry naturally. A lime mortar scratch coat went on, then a lime mortar float coat which is now ready for skimming. Removing damp from old cottages doesn't happen over night but once they are dried properly they stay dry

Pooh and Piglet walked home thoughtfully together in the golden evening, and for a long time they were silent... “When you wake up in the morning what’s the first thing you say to yourself?” “I say, I wonder what’s going to happen exciting TODAY?” ~A.A.Milne #MondayMotivaton

He looked up at his clock, which had stopped at five minutes to eleven some weeks ago. “Nearly eleven o'clock,” said Pooh happily. “You're just in time for a little smackerel of something,” and he put his head into the cupboard. ~A.A.Milne #MondayMotivation #elevenses
