its so weird coming from a place where i grew up with one direction and always look back to those days with love but also the fact that he was an awful person all this time there are many mixed feelings rn

most of us grew up with him & that band , both holding him accountable and being sad a part of our childhood is gone can coexist

it is just so strange to go from adoring a musician for years during the peak of your adolescence, have to then come to terms with the fact he is abusive and cruel in reality, and then have to learn of his gruesome death and try to fit that all into a neat statement
