The irony of it being #childrensmentalhealthweek and my son having a severe episode. “Ring 999” is what we are told - no thank you. Private psychiatrist booked, we will support him without our beloved #nhs - why’s no one talking about #childrensmentalhealthcrisis never mind week!

How many times have we been referred/self referred to CAMHS? 9 times. How many times have we been refused help? 9 times. Why? He’s autistic. So what can we do? Ring 999 and get him admitted if it gets too bad. Fab. Ps, his symptoms are alarming, he ticks every psychosis box!

Off my usual topic, but Potty Noods lovers; My husband has a theory they cause cold sores. I’m a coldsore sufferer so told him to go away. Anyway, last week I had a pot noodle, 2 days later = coldsore! Anyone else???? #potnoodle #coldsore

We did a survey recently for carers uk. It illustrated many were working over 90 hours a week. What is it you intend to do with that information Carers UK ? Given nobody should be expected to “care” such an excessive amount of hours per week regardless.

Oh my! After 4 phone calls to the council (queen of pestering) we have just had a call back! Our son has been granted the independent specialist!! So happy right now 🤍 School ✅ next up; CAMHS 😂
