Well ... an hour on hold and three transfers between Expedia for TD (Canada) and #TDRewards, I'm no closer to being able to use my airline credits. Tech doesn't work, no one cares to fix it. I just want to go home! Expedia, make this right or I'm done with your system.

So refreshing to see teaching universities (like mine!) discussed at #navsa2022. As Doreen Thierauf @dolorimeter persuasively shows here, NAVSA attendance and programs prioritize R1s even as our job market realities don’t support that hierarchy.

Yet another weird thing about starting a job in a pandemic is that #navsa2022 was my first semester-time conference. I had the best time, but how do folks *do* this? Three classes now all scrambled up and not enough hours to get them back on track. Advice welcome …
