CITY NO. 53: OXFORD Having visited Cambridge, it only makes sense to visit the city of its university rival! Though there was no one punting the day of my visit, I did enjoy a nice cool drink by the River Thames.

CITY NO. 57: PORTSMOUTH Time to visit another maritime city and the home of the British Royal Navy. The main attraction in the city is the area of Southsea, where you can get the hovercraft to the Isle of Wight, which is the fastest and only service of its kind in the UK.

CITY NO. 60: TRURO The county town of Cornwall and the furthest city in the West. My brief visit took me towards Truro Cathedral, which seemed to be situated in a awkward spot to take photos, though I think I managed in the end! More to see from Cornwall soon!

On my birthday I visited Penzance, the furthest town South Westerly way and the namesake behind The Pirates of Penzance by Gilbert & Sullivan. A beautiful part of the world, but far from the end of the line for me!

CITY NO. 61: EXETER The last stop in the South West of England. Exeter is probably the biggest city and certainly one of the busiest in the region. I can recommend visiting places from the cathedral to The House That Moved.
