Iranian authorities must halt all plans to carry out arbitrary executions and protect all those arrested over accusations of espionage for Israel from enforced disappearance, torture and other ill-treatment.

Amnesty International is extremely distressed by video footage and reports of Israeli attacks on Tehran's Evin Prison, where hundreds of prisoners, including political dissidents and human rights defenders, are imprisoned. 1/3

🧵 Following Israel’s 13 June attacks, Iranian authorities have arrested hundreds of people on claims of “collaboration” or “espionage” for Israel. Authorities have arbitrarily executed at least six people for such accusations since 16 June.

On 20 June, Amnesty International expressed fears that Iranian authorities would step up the executions of individuals on death row accused of "espionage" for Israel. Four of the men named by the organization are amongst those arbitrarily executed since 16 June ⬇️ amn.st/60144d4zK

Amnesty International is gravely concerned for those currently on death row, including Ahmadreza Djalali, Afshin Ghorbani Mishani, Rouzbeh Vadi and Shahin Basami - four men sentenced to death for such accusations following grossly unfair trials.
