With our region facing unprecedented fiscal instability as Montgomery County residents struggle to keep up with rising costs and higher property tax assessments, I won't be supporting a property tax increase in this year's budget. 1/3

The county is already generating more revenue from county taxpayers with higher assessments and it's our responsibility to fund schools, public safety, transportation, parks, and libraries without adding additional housing costs on residents. 2/3

Our future is brighter if we keep affordability for our families at the forefront of our decisions: by reducing housing costs, doubling down on growing our economy to fund our shared priorities, and by being more effective and efficient with the tax dollars we already have. 3/3
