Best part of a conference in my town when I’m an introvert? , I am currently recharging in my PJ’s in the back yard with my dog.

By the way, huge appreciation for MMS Minnesota having NA beer & soft drinks this year. I’ve been sober for about 6 years now, and being able to enjoy a beverage with my peers without pressure to drink is awesome.

So I just had the best session idea thanks to @TheNotoriousDRR. “How to Dev Ops your family”

Replaced the SSL cert on a public-facing camera and was as uneventful as one might hope (esp. considering it can't be automated). Certs don't have to be scary, and you shouldn't have to dread every interaction w/ their mgmt. Start small, try other stuff to become more familiar.

I have been working on an utter nightmare of an issue at work for over six months. We have now stumped multiple engineers. I am not used to this, so I am countering my feelings of ineptitude with manual labor. Today was fixing my wheelbarrow then using it to move heavy things.

So, mom was released yesterday with only the standard restriction post cardiac arrest. No driving for six months. I’m betting she tries to cheat. She’s a fucking beast. We are incredibly lucky. Now to deal with her major risk factor. Living with my dad.
