Imagine your world turned upside down in a heartbeat. That’s what happened to one of our CBIT families when their 7-year-old son suffered a brain injury in a car accident. 💔 In their darkest moments, Child Brain Injury Trust was right there with them from hospital visits to early intervention.💙

Our small grants program offers up to £125 to help families affected by childhood-acquired brain injury. It supports social activities, equipment & items that reduce isolation + bring joy. Just like Heidi who loves her care bear & activity blocks supporting her fine motor skills.

Our Counselling Service is available to all families registered with CBIT. Since Jan 2021, our counselling service has been a lifeline for families and young people from the age of 11 & over. in 2024 we provided 878 sessions: "My sessions saved me + made me ready for the world."
