#bcedchat A2– I wore a poppy to honour my ancestors who’s freedoms and rights had been denied. They immigrated to Canada only to return to Europe 5 years later to secure those continual freedoms & rights.

#bcedchat A3– our society has not allowed for men’s health to be a normalized conversation. Their narrative is closely tied to the dominant cultural narrative and power. To admit illness/mental health is to admit weakness. These conversations need to be normalized for men.
