They show up early & yell,”Hi Coach Amelia” during my varsity ⚾️ practice, then I head to the softball field to teach and instill my love of 🥎 in them. At least 1 every week has told someone else, “Girls can play ⚾️ too” and it lets me know I’m teaching more than a game❤️⚾️🖤🥎

Thankful for all influential coaches in my life but today, I thank the guy I’ve called, Coach since 3. Yesterday I got to share the field as his teammate, playing in a costume softball tourney. First time I’ve played with him and I will cherish it always. I❤️you dad! #bucketlist

1st fall tourney, BA .100 w/ 3ks trying to be who I’m not. Next 3 tourneys I went back to who I am, averaging .488 w/0ks. Line drives, placing the ball where the defense isn’t, or where it helps my team situationally, that me, team 1st! #mentalnoteforself

Going to absolutely miss attending USA Softball #HPP for my 3rd year but had to choose college finals over softball. Cheering on all the athletes in FL as I crush the last day of my 1st semester! 🤓 📚
