Walid Daqqa, Palestinian poet and political prisoner, died yesterday in an Israeli prison.

today marks 18 years since israeli soldiers murdered my cousin. i’m resharing a comic i made for Middle East Eye about him & about how the genocide & systemic, indiscriminate murder of Palestinians is woven into the very fabric of israel’s existence. this didn’t start in October.

Today is April 7. Today marks exactly 6 months of genocide. 183 days of death and starvation. Half a year of the world watching as Israel gutted Gaza and its people. More than 30,000 murdered. 1.9 million Palestinians displaced. Thousands injured.

How long will this go on?

& finally, in celebration and memory of, and in mourning for all the Palestinians silenced forever by US-backed Israeli forces, among them Shireen Abu Akleh and Refaat Alareer, whose Twitter handle was Refaat in Gaza 🇵🇸.
