Today, we welcomed His Majesty, King Charles, to Southport Fire and Ambulance Station today following last month's tragic attack in the town. He met representatives from fire, police, and ambulance services, and members of the community involved in the incident and its aftermath.

So proud of my Mersey Fire crews along with Merseyside Police and North West Ambulance Service - stepping forward when others understandably move away - the situation and loss remains so very difficult to comprehend but the thank you from the King was so very much appreciated.
