At a young age, I developed a rheumatic disease. I’ve learned to live with it now, but in the middle of it all, it felt pretty dark. ‘Slumber’ is about that middle part, the hopelessness I felt of being a 17-year old who couldn't even get out of bed due to the pain I felt.
