A year ago today, now rising Junior - Trinity and rising Sophomore - Amaya, at the USATF State meet at Westlake. Fresh off the track from running the 400mh (Trini) and 200mh (Amaya). Both qualified to Regionals in South Carolina.

Long hurdles!!! 🗣🗣🗣 #300mh Amaya Sanford with the PR in the girls 300mh. She finishes 3️⃣rd with a time of 5️⃣0️⃣.0️⃣8️⃣!!! I see a 49 on the horizon. Great job young lady! We also have Celeste Welch in the top 8. She finishes 5th w/ a time of 50.79.

The Lady Lions finish 2️⃣nd behind GAC in the 4x4. First leg 👉🏽 Kendalyn. Second leg 👉🏽 Mariah. Third leg 👉🏽 our short and long hurdler, Amaya. And our anchor that took it home 👉🏽 Sydney Augmon!!! They finish with a seasons best so far with a time of 4:10.93. Congrats ladies!
