Last year over 140 young people took part in the Mark Scott Award. Projects they delivered reached hundreds of people, and each made a positive impact in their local area. We're looking forward to another year of delivery, and can't wait to see what our groups this year can achieve!

Best bit of the week?

Knacked, happy, and impressed. The last few weeks of residentials have been full-on with learning, adventure & challenge. We're ready to head home and dig into community projects with all 26 teams across the central belt of Scotland. #youthwork @outwardbounduk

I had the incredible opportunity last week to meet Sir Chris Bonington. It was very cool to chat about climbing in Glencoe & hiking Crib Goch over dinner with him! Steve Mackenzie & I were in London for the Outward Bound WOW awards where he was presenting.

Pupils from Cumbernauld Academy, Greenfaulds HS & OLHS Cumbernauld have organised a series of community events. They would like to invite along anyone that could use a little company, or just fancies something a little different in their day. The event is free, just drop in!

Community social day! Our group will be hosting a social day with board games, quizzes & crafts until 3pm at Sacred Heart Cnauld today. Drop in for a cuppa and some entertainment
