The biggest issue in nationwide consultations with tenants in 2017/18 has not emerged in the Regulator of Social Housing Draft Social Housing Standards. A major promise is lost. Landlords must listen if tenants feel #stigmatised, then help to alleviate #so8cialhousing stigma, when identified.

This week at the Housing and Social Mobility APPG, Dr Mercy Denedo & Dr Amanze Ejiogu presented their “Challenging the Stigma of Social Housing in England & consultation responses” findings. MPs were presented with concrete data and recommendations to tackle in-work poverty.
