Feeling justified that many of my former scholars told me I was right about everything during a recent visit to NAHS. Yesterday many parents were teary eyed as they thanked me for influencing and teaching their children this year. My students = my legacy

So excited to begin my new Journey as a High School History teacher at St. Pius X Catholic High School. The past is behind me and I forging ahead to a brighter tomorrow as a Golden Lion!

Planning to move into my new classroom today at St. Pius. One of my former students let me know she will be my student once again. Time to regroup and prepare for the new year. Pre-planning starts next week. 1st day August 7th.

I can’t believe I’m ending week two already. I love teaching again. I really get to teach and only have to manage the class a little bit. 95% of my day is spent facilitating learning. It’s magical.

Tomorrow is the Junior Pilgrimage to the monastery. I am excited for the first field trip of the year. The theme is to be announced before we leave tomorrow, but one of the stations is called "Finding God in the Silence".

I’m sad that so many teachers have wishlists for their classrooms because the school boards are increasing their salaries instead of putting children & education first. Public servants & elected officials need to lower their own salaries & give the remains funds to the schools
