What a great show! I love when I get to see my students shine outside of school!

It was a “Winter Wonderland” at the Mill this morning as our 🏴‍☠️ s arrived to school!! 🏴‍☠️❄️🏴‍☠️❄️🏴‍☠️❄️🏴‍☠️❄️

The results for Day 1 of our annual Pickett’s Mill PTA and Foundation Reindeer Dash are in and it’s a close race! Currently, Mrs. Gardner is Rudolph, followed by Mrs. Motes, Mrs. Wilson, Mr. Okuno, Mrs. Miller, Mrs. Sullivan, Mrs. Lovett, Mrs. Saleeby, and Mrs. Rann! 🏴‍☠️🦌🎅🏻🌲🏴‍☠️

Shop with a Buc is one of my favorite events. My youngest is in high school now so she volunteered this year too.

I ❤️that Allatoona High has feeder programs for my students! I enjoyed seeing students shine on the court today! 🏀

Starting the second semester for my doctorate today. The first semester flew by :-)

We started a system in our classroom so that I can visually see how students are doing with their goal of completing 3 Zearn lessons each week. The kids are continuing to move their ship as they complete missions. The students love to move their ship and magnet!

Loved getting to learn from Dyanna Motes, PAEMST and Kyle Perry today! Both are great teacher leaders and I got new ideas from both😍 I also got observed by a peer today. Getting an encouraging note left behind made the uncomfotableness of being observed by a peer worth it!

I’ve completed this year’s leadership team book. It contains a wealth of valuable advice, and it resonated with several concepts I learned in Leadership for Change, a course I took in the fall. #LeadLAP #GeorgiasBest #GoWest

We did a math sprint from EngageNY today and I it was a very valuable experience for math fluency and flexibilty. Thankful for PL that gives me new ideas for the classroom! CCSD Math Leadership

We loved having CCSD Math Leadership and Chick Fil A read to us today! In addition to engaging read alouds, we had good discussions on math, being lifelong learners, and presenting yourself well.

I have been experimenting with having numbers on my board since a training with CCSD Math Leadership . I finally found a setup I like. I used electric tape to hold down the strip of numbers and magnets for the sticky notes. My spiral review time is so much better now!
