Yesterday, the Assembly passed the Medical Aid in Dying Act, which allows terminally ill patients to request medication to peacefully end their suffering (A.136). New Yorkers facing unbearable pain deserve compassion, care, and the right to choose a dignified death.

We must pass my bill A.8635 to ensure formerly incarcerated women who were sexually assaulted in New York’s prison system and who filed #AdultSurvivorsAct claims can get their day in court. Justice has been delayed long enough.

I hardly post on this platform, but this is a new level of unconscionable awful. Last year in NY alone, on ONE day, 1700 DV victims/survivors needs went unmet - do you have any idea how much worse that can be with this attitude?! Sickening.
