It’s hard to put into words what today has meant to me. I had the incredible honor of joining 90 Veterans, including four WWII Veterans, to our Nation’s Capital on the Honor Flight Columbus. Today has brought me tears, smiles and endless gratitude for these American Heroes❤️🇺🇸

I didn’t think it was possible to feel more sickened or enraged by school shootings, and then I became a parent. What an unimaginable nightmare.

My daughter is counting down the days until summer break. Just like those 14 innocent lives taken today. I’m just absolutely gut-wrenchingly sick over this. KIDS. LITTLE KIDS. Gone. Lives shattered forever. I just can’t believe this is where we live.

No words. No actions. Only thoughts and prayers. I hate it here. 😔
