A pooled analysis including new Data Partner BREAK-AD (gaaindata.org/partner/BREAK-…) shows that with the same cut-off of ≤24, MoCA has a higher odds ratio and smaller confidence interval than MMSE in correlating with MCI, suggesting higher sensitivity. 📑 pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/30426911/

Recently, National Alzheimer's Coordinating Center (NACC) was updated with neuropathology and CSF biomarker data. Now, we can correlate pathological levels of CSF Abeta, p-tau, and t-tau with Thal phases 4 & 5 and Braak stages V & VI determined from autopsy.
