With so little time until #MarcellusWilliams is set to be executed tomorrow, Sept. 24th at 6 p.m., our best tool is our voice. We must make as much noise as possible in these final hours, as public pressure can make all the difference in the moments leading up to an execution.

It’s outrageous that Missouri is so close to executing Marcellus Williams. He was convicted at a trial where prosecutors intentionally struck at least one Black person from the jury pool. Witnesses were paid to point the finger at Marcellus. His DNA is not on the murder weapon.

We wish we had better news. But as of now, #MarcellusWilliams is still scheduled to be executed by Missouri tonight at 6 p.m. central for a crime he is totally innocent of. Don’t stop sharing his story. It’s not too late to save an innocent life. innocenceproject.org/petitions/stop…

Missouri's governor and the man he appointed AG are being allowed to kill Marcellus Williams over the objection of the prosecutor in the office that prosecuted the case and a strong innocence claim, and the SCOTUS conservatives said, "Sounds good to me." lawdork.com/p/scotus-cleme…

This is the exact reason we shouldn't have a death penalty. The government can pick you up, convict you of a crime, hold you in a box for a couple of decades and kill you, whether you did anything or not and it's not even unconstitutional. Not even close. Burn. It. Down.

Aimee lost her son Ben to a drug overdose. She knows Proposition 36 will do more harm than good and make it harder for people to access the help they need. This November, vote NO on Prop 36. #StopProp36 #NoOn36

Whether it's 2 Governors or local elected officials, I've always opposed recalls and oppose the recalls on our Nov 5th ballot. They're undemocratic, costly, and chaotic. They prevent our officials from governing and deplete badly needed resources from our communities.

Last week, California Governor announced $167 million in funding from Prop 47 savings will go to 27 orgs to provide mental health services, substance use disorder treatment, and diversion programs. If Prop 36 passes, this funding will be slashed and communities will suffer. #StopProp36

"If you choose to stay in one of those evacuation areas, you are going to die," Tampa's mayor said. But Florida’s incarcerated residents have no choice. 21,000+ people are locked up in counties with mandatory evacuation orders, per The Appeal's analysis. theappeal.org/hurricane-milt…
