What my teens are feeling almost twelve months in: ✅ low motivation ✅ frustration ✅ lonely ✅ uncertain What can we do? Start by listening more than you speak. Follow the 80/20 rule: listen 80%, talk 20%. 9/10 teens need a sounding board, not a bunch of tips.

Some advice on simultaneous teaching from 6th graders: 1. Meet with online learners right before class & preview the lesson, as it's harder to follow along virtually. 2. If there are only a few online learners, do NOT project their faces onto a big whiteboard--it's humiliating!
