🇺🇦🇪🇺 As part of the government delegation led by PM Denys Shmyhal, I had the honour of speaking at the 10th Ukraine-EU Association Council meeting in Brussels, where we discussed #UkraineRecovery and #EUIntegration.

At the European Business Summits in Brussels, I discussed #Ukraine’s recovery, focusing on people-centered restoration in sectors like housing, energy and transport, as well as private sector involvement, digitalisation and accelerating IFIs processes for #UkraineRecovery

⛴ Together with The EBRD, IFC, and EY, Ministry for Development presented the #Chornomorsk #Port concession project - a major public-private partnership initiative. This offers opportunities for investment, modernisation, and infrastructure development, even in wartime.

🇺🇦🇵🇱 A great meeting with Kowal, Special Envoy of the Polish Government for #Ukraine's Reconstruction. We discussed UA-PL cooperation on reconstruction, Polish business involvement, and priority sectors like housing, transport, and infrastructure.

🇺🇦🇮🇹 #Ukraine opened its pavilion "DAKH" ("roof") at the 19th #Venice Architecture Biennale. For us, "Dakh" means more than just a #roof - it symbolises home, protection, and resilience. Russia destroyed millions of Ukrainian roofs, we are rebuilding.

We invited French Minister Rachida Dati ن to visit 🇺🇦 pavilion "DAKH" ("roof") at the #Venice Architecture Biennale. In turn, we also attended 🇫🇷 pavilion featuring projects dedicated to Ukraine, which is underscores our cooperation. Grateful for French support in #UkraineRecovery!

In Verona, the On the Road to URC2025 event kicked off preparations for the URC in Rome this July. With 400+ attendees, we discussed the critical role of communities in #UkraineRecovery, and how 🇮🇹 ongoing support, incl. restoration of Odesa, is a key part of this shared effort.

At the 3rd Intl Summit of Cities and Regions, a crucial event for UA local self-government, 🇺🇦 signed 15 memorandums with European cities. We discussed 🇪🇺integration, financial aid and decentralisation: #EUintegration is an international transformation that starts in communities!

🇺🇦🇦🇹Productive meeting with Wolfgang Anzengruber, Austrian Special Coordinator for Ukraine's Reconstruction, at the 3rd Int'l Summit of Cities & Regions in Kyiv. Discussed energy, IDPs, demining & rail modernisation. Deeply grateful for €500M fund to invest in #UkraineRecovery!

Day of mourning in Kyiv. We showed 🇫🇷 Ambassador Gaël Veyssiere, Special Envoy Heilbronn and AFD Dir. Gen. Remi Riou the aftermath of Russia’s attack: 400+ drones hit 🇺🇦, #Kyiv alone saw 150 buildings damaged in one night. We’ve already recovering - we need action, not sympathy.

🇺🇦🇪🇺 Heading to Brussels for the screening of the Transport and TEN-T chapters of EU accession talks. Working with the EUCommission to align UA transport laws with EU standards. A lot of work ahead, including in implementing EU directives for Ukrainian Railways. Wish us luck!

🇺🇦🇪🇺 In Brussels, we discussed UA transport integration into the EU with DG MOVE's Magda Kopczyńska: aligning UA laws with EU standards, extending the Road Transport Agreement, restoring the Danube Corridor, and improving border infrastructure. On track for full integration!

🇺🇦🇪🇺In Brussels, held meetings on transport, housing and energy with EuroCommission officials: discussed the urgency of #UkraineRecovery funding, including social housing for IDPs, apartment restoration and fast procedures for WB projects. Thanks to all partners for their support

🇺🇦🇮🇹 At the URC in Rome, EU Flagship Fund for #UkraineRecovery was announced - the world's largest fund to support Ukraine's regions and cities. Thanks to our 🇪🇺 partners, President Zelenskyy and his Office, Deputy PM Kuleba, First Deputy PM Svyrydenko for making this a reality!

🇺🇦🇮🇹Italy leads the restoration of UA cultural heritage: at the URC, we signed 3 key agreements: 🔹 €32.5M for Odesa’s cultural restoration 🔹 €6M for Tatarbunary & Kiliya irrigation systems 🔹 €30M for a hospital construction in Odesa Thanks to everyone! United in Recovery!

🇺🇦🇮🇹 €1.5B agreement signed at the #URC2025 between #Ukraine & #Italy for reconstruction! It combines concessional loans & grants, with Italy’s SACE & CDP funds offering insurance, favourable loans & terms for UA - IT cooperation. A big win for SMEs & joint projects!
