I’m lucky to have met so many publicans/ landlords from Up and down the country. They’re all as different as their pubs are, a proper diverse bunch of characters. One thing they all have in common is their resilience and adaptability to everything that’s been thrown their way 1/2

So to see so many genuinely despairing at the current situation, closing businesses, losing their homes & livelihoods or having to slim down the team they care about, is really sad. RR has to have a rethink in the Autumn and REALLY help pubs. No more smoke & mirrors.
