As part of their Stunning Start, Year 6 children at Baldwins Hill had a visit from Al Sylvester MBE. He shared with them his life experiences, including how he led the Royal Air Force’s first unsupported attempt on the South Pole! Thank you Al Sylvester for a fantastic visit!

Year 6 had a visit from the incredible Al Sylvester today. The children were engrossed in his workshop on the challenges and experiences he faced on his journey across Antarctica. A truly inspirational and memorable workshop for our children - highly recommended Al Sylvester

What an inspiring morning we had with Al Sylvester this morning. He led the first RAF expedition to the South Pole and shared his amazing journey along the way. The children made me proud with how well they listened, responded and asked such insightful questions.

Sad for Chelsea losing on penalties but I'm over moon for Liverpool, what a fantastic result. Also total respect to Hendo who instead of celebrating, he stepped aside and consoled Mount. What a Captain ♥️ You'll Never Walk Alone ♥️♥️♥️
