I have been asked on two different networks and by two different male hosts today whether abortion rights are as important to women as the economy. I can't say it more clearly: reproductive freedom is economic freedom. They are intrinsically intwined, as every woman knows.

WE DID IT! #Prop1 has passed! NY's constitution will now protect our reproductive freedoms, including abortion, and protect every New Yorker from government discrimination, regardless of gender, age, ethnicity, pregnancy status, disability status, or whether someone is LGBT.

BREAKING: Not only is abortion still fully legal in Colorado, but the right to an abortion was just voted into the state constitution. That’s not all — abortion care can now be covered by state health insurance, expanding access for Coloradans! Huge victory for repro freedom!🏔
