As we approach the start of the fall semester, we are happy to welcome our newest faculty member, Dr. Zheng Wu. Dr. Wu received her PhD in atmospheric sciences from the University of Utah and is joining UAlbany ATM/ENV Sci from ETH Zurich where she was a postdoctoral researcher.

This winter was characterized by anomalous warmth for much of the region. Milwaukee experienced it's warmest winter on record while Madison just saw it's second warmest winter. Even though we had near normal precipitation, snowfall was still below normal for the region. #wiwx
