Spartans Add Quebec Power Forward The Almaguin Spartans are thrilled to announce the addition of Mitchell Quesnel. The 6'2, 2006 born Forward from Chateauguay, Quebec joins the Spartans from Ontario Hockey Academy CSSHLE U18.

Another Spartans Re-Signs The Almaguin Spartans are happy to announce the re-signing of Justis Stewart. The 2005 born forward from Powassan, Ontario had a great rookie season putting up 22 points in 41 games.

Spartans Add Sanzsole The Almaguin Spartans are excited to announce the signing of Carlos Sanzsole. The 2006 born defensemen is a product of the North Central Predators AAA program. Last season Sanzsole suited up for the Midland Flyers in the PCJHL.

Gagnon Returns!!! The Almaguin Spartans are excited to announce the re-signing of William Gagnon. The 2004 born forward from Chambly, Quebec registered 18 points and 89 penalty minutes in 40 games last season.

The Spartans 2024-2025 Season Schedule!!! The Spartans will host 20 regular season home games, beginning Friday October 4th with our home opener vs the Ville Marie Pirates. The majority of our home games will be Friday evenings, but we also have 7 Saturday's and 1 Sunday game.

Spartans Add Talented Young Goaltender!!! The Spartans are excited to announce the signing of Cole Echlin (2006) from Summerside, PEI. Cole joins the Spartans from the Alberton Regals U18 AAA. Last season Cole won the lowest GAA award in the PEI U18 AAA league with a 2.68 GAA.

Spartans Re-Sign Bokhonov The Almaguin Spartans are thrilled to announce the return of Maksim Bokhonov. Last season the 2004 born power forward from Russia averaged just under a PPG with 34 points in 36 games.

Spartans Re-Sign Talented Quebec Forward The Almaguin Spartans are thrilled to announce the return of Vincent Fillion Boisvert. The 2006 born forward from Drummondville, Quebec had 20 points in 37 games in his rookie season.

Spartans Add QJHL Defensemen The Almaguin Spartans are thrilled to announce the signing of Vladislav Teryoshin. The 2005 defensemen from Ukraine suited up for Laval VC and Princeville in the QJHL last year.

Spartans Add Mattawa Defensemen The Almaguin Spartans are happy to announce the addition of Cole Dupuis-Neault. The 2006 defensemen from Mattawa, Ontario played for the Scollard Hall Bears last season in the CAHS.

Spartans Add US Forward The Spartans are happy to announce the addition of Jackson Welham. The 2003 Forward from California, split his time between the USPHL Premier and CAJHL last season. Welham had 16 points and 111 penalty minutes in 19 games last year in the CAJHL

Home Opener!!! The Almaguin Spartans kick off the 2024-2025 campaign at home this Friday against the Ville Marie Pirates. Warm up is 7:00, Puck Drop is 7:30. We will have merchandise for sale, chuck a puck, 50/50, Shoot to Win and a Cash Bar.
