Have you ever paused to explore why you judge someone a certain way? I once discovered that what irritated me about someone was not a difference so much as a similarity and my judgement was motivated by envy! ๐Ÿ˜ณ Discomfort? I'll say! YET: Pain facilitates growth if we embrace it!

New Years Eve is a tough day for many. Keep the hope fires burning by taking the time to check in with someone who is having a hard time or has been through one recently. Knowing that someone sees them and cares enough to reach out may make a huge difference.

Wishing all of my friends and followers a Happy New Year! Wishing you peace & success in all your endeavours in 2025 & beyond. Remember... when life seems overwhelming, focus on the things you can control. We can't solve all the worlds problems alone, but together we will rise!

At the end of every year, John Maxwell takes himself off to his study to reflect on and evaluate what went well and what didn't. He then uses it to plan out how he intends to live this new year, make best use of his time & maximise adding value to others. Have you made a plan?

Our natural response when faced with a new idea or proposal, especially one in conflict with our values, is to reject it out of hand, but reasoning often overcomes fear and over time we can find ourselves warming to it. Have you planted seeds that have taken time to germinate?

"How can I be of service to my team?" instead of "How can my team be of service to me?" is a sign of leadership maturity. Traditionally, a culture of entitlement has prevailed in leadership - the belief that it earns special privileges. Staying grounded will pay higher dividends.
